The outdoor facilities comprise of two MUGA
(Multi
Use Games Area) pitches, two full sized
football pitches ,and a childrens' playsite.
The top two photos show the area which the
2 football pitches occupy and will be
updated
when a suitable opportunity arises.
The MUGA pitches are approximately
40 metres x 20 metres in size ;one has
an all-weather surface and the other
has a tarmac surface,
and both can be
floodlit when necessary.
The 2 photos here show the all-weather pitch
in
use.
Tennis courts are now available subject to
other
sports usage. Contact the office if
interested.
The changing rooms are located within the
centre and are accessed at the south end
of the
building.
The childrens' playsite has various activities
and the ground has a special surface to
cushion any falls.
4 CCTV cameras can be used to oversee /
monitor the activities in the playsite and
3 others to view the rear of the building
and carpark.
Toilet facilities for those using the outdoor
pursuits
are located at the south end of the
centre, and include a disabled toilet .
The indoor facilities comprise a meeting room
adjacent to a games room , a mothers' and
toddlers room, a main hall and kitchen.
The meeting room and games room are
approximately 7.7metres x 6.5 metres,
separated by a concertina'd door which
c
an be opened to give one larger room,
7.7metres x 13 metres.
The meeting room (shown in the 4 photos here)
can be arranged in various layouts
for meetings / seminars/computer courses etc..
The games room is equipped with a pool table,
table tennis table, and table football, which can
all be re-located if necessary when used in
conjunction with the meeting room for larger
functions.
A mothers and toddlers room (11.5 m x 6m)
equipped with various children's toys is also
available for hire .
The main hall ( 18 m x 10m )is marked out for
badminton and can also be used for a "mini
basketball / netball" ,dancing / classes, judo,
indoor parties, carpet bowls etc..
The kitchen is well equipped with a gas oven
and six gas rings, a micro wave oven ,
water heater for tea and coffee ,
dishwasher etc..
There is a serving hatch which is accessible
from the main hall by opening the
normally closed shutter .
Toilet facilities for those using the indoor
amenities are located in the corridor leading to
the mothers' and toddlers room, opposite the
meeting / games rooms.
The centre's management team are located in
an office overlooking the main entrance.
